“The End”, a two-act rock-opera belonging to the farcical and tragicomic genre and exceptional in its style, has a structure typical of classical opera: an overture, duets, trios, arias and choral performances. It represents a combination of vocal improvisations, spectacular and choreographic scenes with clear development and ideology.
Christianity, immortality of soul, human sins and trespasses, historical injustices, love and purification - these topics are the ideological basis of the opera.
The duration is 85 minutes consisting of recordings of 12 characters and a choir singing in the original language, rock and folk instruments and an orchestra.
A film is envisaged based on this rock opera, “The End”.
